I have decades of experience working with clients who are trying to deal with varying issues.  Much of this experience was gained when I worked as an Assessment Worker at MIND.  My role here involved a significant amount of group work and counselling.

Working for the NHS’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service as a Person-Centered Counsellor developed my skills across a broad range of issues from anxiety, stress and depression, to alcohol misuse, substance misuse and marital problems to name a few.

In addition to my on-the-job experience, I hold a degree in Addiction Counselling.  It was during my degree course that I learnt to competently implement Cognitive Behavioural and Motivational Therapy – I am also a qualified Person-Centered Therapist.

BACP approved I also hold a degree in counselling phycology.
